About the Foundation
The Mission Behind Every Rescue
Neelam Foundation is a community animal-welfare initiative from Gorakhpur — on the streets, at the clinic and in the rehabilitation yard.
Our Mission
Protecting the Voiceless,
One Life at a Time
Neelam Foundation works to give abandoned, injured, neglected, and vulnerable animals the care, protection and dignity they deserve.
From emergency rescue and first aid to vaccination, nutrition, rehabilitation and long-term care, we work to give vulnerable animals a safer path forward.
We care for animals who need protection, treatment, food, shelter and a second chance.

“Serving these innocent souls is the highest devotion; their silent blessings are life's greatest wealth.”
Neelam founded Neelam Foundation with an unwavering vow: that no injured, suffering, or abandoned animal in Gorakhpur should ever be left to suffer alone without care, shelter, and love.
From midnight emergency rescues and daily antiseptic wound dressings to feeding over 100+ stray dogs every evening, she personally leads our ground operations with maternal warmth and courage.
